You need a good understanding of your CO2 footprint to attain climate neutrality and to allow your organization to take other sustainability measures. Your CO2 footprint clearly shows what the most important causes of your emissions are. The calculation shows how much CO2 is released each day in your entire organization. We also make a comparison with the CO2 emissions in your sector (to the extent possible).
How do we work?
Our approach gives practical tools to monitor your CO2 footprint and gives you insight into possible savings. We use an online inventory tool to start the calculation of your footprint. You fill in the details of your use – with our help if needed – and then we do the calculation. We use the most up-to-date and recognized calculation method (GreenHouseGas protocol) and emission factors. We evaluate our methods annually to take the latest research into account. You receive the final calculation in an illustrated, clear report.
What can you do with the results?
Your first CO2 footprint is a baseline and shows where reductions are possible. By then recalculating your footprint annually, you can see where you have realized savings and where you may need to make changes. Your CO2 footprint shows clearly and immediately what the causes of emissions are within your organization. Is the CO2 coming primarily from your mobility, your production process or both? Using this information, we give you suggestions for reducing and offsetting your emissions. The CO2 footprint can also be used to good effect in your sustainability or CSR report.
What clients say about us
“Our policy is aimed at CO2 reduction. So insight into our CO2 footprint is definitely necessary. By having it calculated annually, we can get insight into where we can reduce and what the effects have been from the measures we have already taken. Offsetting is a logical final step.
